Who We Are

The ReSisters group was convened by Lynda Myles in 2016 in New York City to support Democratic candidates and promote progressive policies. We have expanded to include members in several states and collaborate with partners and friends near and far.

Members meet weekly online to exchange and discuss political information and initiatives . ReSisters write postcards and letters, march, call, lobby, donate, canvass, produce a weekly newsletter, organize events, raise funds for The States Project, and generally agitate for a democratic agenda.
